Let us help you get the sound you want! After my years in the studio as a musician, I know that your sound is your signature. Sometimes you know exactly what you want, and sometimes things just sort of develope in the studio. You should know right up front; you're in charge here!
We will be there to make things happen. We can be there to assist you with the music, the mix, and the master!
Our studio is small in size and not for a full out band, but there is nothing small about the sound of our recordings! We have several larger locations that can be used if needed. All recordings are mixed in the studio. Hot coffee from Costa Rica, or a cold beer can be served up to help you to get in the mood to make music! McCarthy Studio has one goal: that is to make you feel welcome and at home.
Once you are relaxed and comfortable, let our 24 track studio do it's thing. We have top quality equipment from the mics to the cables! Emu Proteus, Roland, Neuman, AKG, Blue, G&l, Taylor,Steinberg, Wavelab, Rainsong, M Audio, Audix, are some of the names you will see in the studio. It makes no sense to plug a cheap microphone into a $500.00 pre amp! We will find the right piece of equipment for the job.
If you find you need a fiddle or steel peddle in a song that was supposed to be a rocker, you can borrow one of ours musicians. You won't find better players, and they are not going to charge to a fortune.

Kenny Rose has just finnished his new CD, Sunshine State of Mind. You are listening to "Lemon Bay" , one of the many really great songs on this CD. It has honestly been a pleasure to have Kenny in the studio. His talent is only over shadowed by his personality! Sunshine State of Mind will be in the store and all the music sites in March.
I want you to have the best time possible while recording your music. I make jingles, voice overs,sound tracks and have the equipment, experience and musicians to get your finished project to it's target. We welcome talent from other companies to use our studio. Many of our clients have brought in their own people for voice overs and of course to play an instrument on a given project. Qualified engineers are also welcome to use our studio.
When you record or mix down at the studio, stay in one of our beach houses at McCarthy's Inns, or stay in our three bedroom Gulf front beach house. You can make your CD while your family plays on the beach. Some big names have found a walk down our beach can to be inspiring! Remember? We want you to be Comfortable!
When your music is done and you are ready for the market, let jane design package your music. Years of working with the industry standards will make your graphic design pop out to your audience in a way that is your own!
